A warm air heating, ventilating and air-conditioning contractor fabricates, installs, maintains, services and repairs warm air heating systems and water heating heat pumps, complete with warm air appliances; ventilating systems complete with blowers and plenum chambers; air-conditioning systems complete with all air-conditioning until and the ducts, registers, flues, humidity and thermostatic controls and air filters in connection with any of these systems. This classification shall include warm air heating ventilating and air-conditioning systems which utilize solar energy.
Course Description
The HVAC Manual briefly covers the major topics of the State exam including Properties of Air and Water, Basic HVAC Formulas, Basic Electrical Formulas, Electrical and Insulating Materials, SCGC Standards, Fuels and Refrigerants, Mechanical Refrigerations, Pland and Circuit Symbols, Solar Energy, and Psychrometric Charts. The manual also contains summaries of the Uniform Mechanical Code. The last section of the HVAC Manual covers the Health and Safety Orders.
The Math Review Lecture covers the first part of the HVAC manual which is on Math. The HVAC lecture covers the topics addressed in the manual specific to the C-20 trade exam. The Health and Safety Lecture covers the Health and Safety Orders at the end of the HVAC manual.
