A glazing contractor selects, cuts, assembles and/or installs all makes and kinds of glass, glass work, mirrored glass, and glass substitute materials for glazing; executes the fabrication and glazing of frames, panels, sashes and doors; and/or installs these items in any structure.
Course Description
The Glazing Manual briefly covers the major topics of the State exam including Glass and Glazing Products, Glazing Sealants, Glazing Tools, Glazing Guidelines, Fasteners, and Glazing Systems. The Glazing Manual also contains summaries of the Uniform Building Code. The last section of the Glazing Manual covers the Health and Safety Orders.
The Math Review Lecture covers the first part of the Glazing manual which is on Math. The Glazing lecture covers the topics addressed in the manual specific to the C-17 trade exam. The Health and Safety Lecture covers the Health and Safety Orders at the end of the Glazing manual.
