A cabinet and millwork contractor makes cabinet, cases, sashes, doors, trims, non-bearing partitions and other items of "finish carpentry" by cutting, surfacing, joining, gluing and framing wood and wood products. This contractor also places erects, fabricates and finishes such cabinets and millwork in structures.

Course Description

The Cabinet and Millwork Manual briefly covers the major topics of the State exam including Veneer, Abrasives, Adhesives, Wood Joints, and Doors. The manual also includes brief summaries of some of the Woodworking Institute of California's Standards as well as a Glossary. The last section of the Cabinet and Millwork Manual covers the Health and Safety Orders.

The Math Review Lecture covers the first part of the Cabinet and Millwork manual which is on Math. The Cabinet and Millwork lecture covers the topics addressed in the manual specific to the C-6 trade exam. The Health and Safety Lecture covers the Health and Safety Orders at the end of the Cabinet and Millwork manual.
