FINAL EXAM RULES & INSTRUCTION

 

MINIMUM COMPLETION TIME

The minimum completion time for each 45-hour course is 2.5 weeks (18-days) from the date you receive your materials. You may sign up as many courses at one time, but you can only take one exam after each 18-days.

 

For the National USPAP course, the minimum completion time is 5 days.

 

We will add a 3-day for non-internet courses to accomodate shipping delivery.

FINAL EXAMINATION PROCTORING

         It is the sponsor’s responsibility to make the final determination as to the designation of the final examination proctor. You may, however, request a convenient date for the final examination and suggest the proctor to administer the examination. The examination proctor may not be related to you by blood, marriage or any other relationship that would influence them from properly administering the examination. The final exam will be sent directly to the test proctor.

 

VIA INTERNET: You may also take the final exam online.

 

PROCTOR (FOR USPAP COURSE ONLY): A test proctor must present during your entire examination. Prior to your final exam session, the test proctor will be prompted to fill out a test-proctor certification form,. Instruction to the test proctor are summarized below.

 

 

RULES IN TAKING FINAL EXAMINATION

Test proctor shall establish the following final examination rules for approved offerings:

 

(a) Student to present a picture ID (e.g. Drivers License) before taking the examination.

(b) The student is not allowed to reference to any printed material.

(c)  Student shall not communicate with any person except the test proctor.

(d) Copying questions and making notes from a final examination is prohibited.

(e) Calculator with programmable memory or printing capacity is not allowed.

(g) Students are to return the examination questions, answer sheet, and any scratch paper to test proctor.

 

A violation of any of these rules disqualifies the student and could prevent the issuance of his/her certificate.

 

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION:

For Online examination, your test result will be graded after you finished your exam session. We will either mail you a certificate of completion or you will be able to print your certificate of completion on line, after you passed the final examination.

 

TESTING DISCLAIMER

 

I certify that:

 

1.    I am the purchaser of the study materials needed for this examination and I have been in possession of said study materials for the requisite amount of time prior to taking this exam. I will not copy or distribute this exam to ANY MEMBER of the public.

 

2.    I have read this page and understand the final exam rules and I will comply with the test proctor’s instruction on taking the final examination.

 

3.    The test proctor I suggested, is and will NOT be related with me by blood, marriage or any other relationship which would influence his/her from properly administering the examination.

 

Due to exam security measures, we will NOT release correct answers to incorrect responses, specific exam questions missed, nor copies of the graded exam.

 

RE-EXAM POLICY

 

Should you fail the final examination, following rules apply:

 

1.      For USPAP, you have two retakes. A different final exam will be given, and a different passing score is required. After 3 fails, you need to re-register for the course.

 

2.        For RE-Appraisal and Advanced RE Appraisal, you must wait for 2.5 weeks to retake the final exam.

 

3.        There is a $50 fee for each re-exam.
